Works

Catharina Hampson-Brans OAM, sculptor, was born in The Netherlands but her creative life has been almost entirely in Australia.

In 1958 she married Cedric Hampson and they settled in Brisbane.

Catharina specializes in bronze sculpture. She has produced many portraints, statues, religious and abstract works from the height of 20 centimeters to over 4 meters. Catharina works in clay (fired), plaster, wax and etched glass panels. Her works are also on canvas, paper, in indian ink, crayons, pencils, oils and acrylic.
